Masks Optional for Zenkaikon 2024
Masks may be worn by any members attending Zenkaikon if they choose. This includes vendors, artists, panelists, guests, Zenkaikon staff, volunteers, and anyone affiliated with or participating in the in-person convention. If you feel ill while attending, we encourage using a surgical or health mask.
We are not requiring proof of vaccinations for Zenkaikon 2024.

Your membership allows us to continue our mission of celebrating and educating the public about Japanese animation, science fiction, fantasy, comics, games, and fandom; and allows you to attend our annual convention – Zenkaikon!
By pre-registering, you will receive a discount on your membership and have faster check-in at the convention. You will also have access to our Thursday Evening Programming exclusive for all pre-registered members! Pre-registered members will also be able to pick up their badges beginning on Thursday afternoon, so they can start enjoying the convention the minute it opens!
Can’t attend in person? Zenkaikon Online allows you to stream programming from our Main Events and our two largest panel rooms at Zenkaikon 2024, as well as access to online-only content and retro content from all previous years!

Pre-Registration Exclusive Content
Thursday Evening Programming: All pre-registered memberships (excluding Zenkaikon Online memberships) will have access to exclusive Zenkaikon programming starting on Thursday, March 21stt! More information will be posted on the Zenkaikon app closer to the convention.
Standard membership also includes introductory access to Zenkaikon Online, showcasing some of our most popular panels and events from 2023. Once you’re on our online access site, feel free to browse all our other videos, and upgrade for full access including all videos and 2024 livestreams of Main Events, Live 1, Live 3 and Con Ambience for $15/year using the ‘Get Access Now’ button that appears when you click on any video not included in the package.
Platinum Memberships include full, one-year access to Zenkaikon Online.
If you are purchasing multiple Zenkaikon Online or Platinum Memberships, please remember to give a separate email address for each membership. Those emails will be the login information for each member to access Zenkaikon Online.

Registration Policies
Pre-Registration Membership Rates
Memberships obtained by pre-registering are valid for all three days of the convention.
Deadlines
The listed deadlines are the last dates that the listed membership rates are available. The membership rate automatically increases at midnight on the day following the date listed under deadline (e.g. at 11:59 pm on March 15th, the price is $70 per standard membership, and at 12:00 am on March 16th, the price is $75 at-the-door per standard membership).

Special Rates
Children Under 10
Children ages 9 and under can receive a free Zenkaikon Child membership with the purchase of at least one Standard (or higher) membership. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To receive the special rate, select a Standard membership and enter the date of birth to validate the discount.
Youth Membership
Children over the age of 9 but under the age of 13 can receive a Zenkaikon Youth membership with the purchase of at least one Standard (or higher) membership. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To receive the special rate, select a Standard membership and enter the date of birth to validate the discount.
Group Rates
Groups of 10 or more registering together receive a 10% discount per person on the Standard membership rate. This discount is automatically applied when you select a quantity of 10 or more Standard memberships. This discount is not available on Platinum memberships.
At-Door Membership Rates
Only Standard Memberships are available at the door of the convention. All memberships purchased at the door are valid for the entire convention from the time of purchase. Memberships purchased on later days of the convention (e.g., Saturday, Sunday) are discounted accordingly.

Minors at Zenkaikon
All members who will be under the age of 13 as of March 22, 2024 must be accompanied by an adult paying member at all times. Free Child memberships are available for minor children under the age of 10. Discounted Youth memberships are available for minor children between the ages of 10-12.

Preferred Names
If you have a name that you would like to be referred to that differs from your ID, please include it on your registration form.
Confirmation and Badge Pickup
Once your registration is complete, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you think you registered, but haven’t received a confirmation, please contact the Registration Department here.
Please note that badges are not mailed. They will be available for pickup at the pre-registration desk upon arrival to the convention. You will need your Driver’s License, Student ID, or another type of photo identification to receive your badge.
18+ Wristbands
To attend events restricted to members who are 18 and over, an 18+ wristband will be required. Wristbands will be available in the Registration area during the convention (the hours will be posted as we get closer to the convention).
To receive an 18+ wristband, we require a valid government-issued ID such as: a US state-issued driver’s license, a US state-issued non-drivers photo ID, a passport, or a US military ID (e.g., a CAC card). Unfortunately, we cannot accept birth certificates and school IDs as identification to receive 18+ wristbands.
21+ Events
There may be some events that are restricted to members who are 21 and older. A government-issued photo ID will be checked at the door of these events. Acceptable IDs are a US state-issued driver’s license, a US state-issued non-drivers photo ID, a valid passport, or a US military ID (e.g., a CAC card).
Refund and Transfer Policy
If you register for a Zenkaikon membership and find that you are unable to attend Zenkaikon 2024, you may transfer your membership to another individual by following the policy outlined below.
- You must create an account with TicketSpice (our Registration provider). A link to create your account is included in your registration confirmation email.
- To initiate a transfer, login to your account. Select “Tickets” and then “View Details” next to your order. Select “Transfer” and enter the name and email of the person you are transferring your membership to.
- Transfers may be initiated through March 15, 2024.
- Memberships may not be resold. If you are found to be selling your membership, that membership will be voided..
We are sorry, but Zenkaikon does not provide refunds. However, you add on Purchase Protection through our registration partner, TicketSpice, which will protect you if you find yourself unable to attend.
