Lex Winter is what happens when passion and productivity collide, creating chaos! As a nearly 30-year fan of anime, manga, and tabletop gaming, it was while in grad school in the 00s that these interests intersected with their even longer-held love of history and culture.

Now, all these years later, they are still at it, still crafting new content, still talking about Japanese history and anime culture at cons, while churning out D&D adventures in their spare time.

2026 marks their 8th appearance at Zenkaikon, just in time for the anniversary special, and excited doesn’t begin to describe how it feels to be back. Hype might be a better term. Yeah, HYPE!
