Zenkaikon 2017 Welcomes The Slants
We're happy to announce that as part of their US tour, Portland-based "Chinatown Dance Rock" band The Slants will be returning to Zenkaikon as our 1st announced guest for 2017!
Zenkaikon 2017 Membership Registration Now Open!
We’re happy to announce the opening of pre-registration for Zenkaikon 2017! Pre-register for a Zenkaikon membership to attend our 11th annual convention on April 28-30, 2017 at the Lancaster County Convention Center!
By pre-registering, you will get a discount on your membership and have faster check-in at the convention. Pre-registered members will also be able to pick up their badges beginning on Thursday evening, so they can start enjoying the convention the minute it opens on Friday!
Zenkaikon 2017 Hotel Room Block Now Available!
We’re happy to announce that the Zenkaikon 2017 room block at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square is now open for booking! This beautiful hotel is right upstairs from the Lancaster County Convention Center, so it’s only a short elevator ride to all the fun of Zenkaikon!
Rooms are available from Thursday, April 27, 2017 through Monday, May 1, 2017 for $136 per night (plus applicable taxes). For our members driving in, we’ve also negotiated a reduced parking rate of $6 day in the adjacent garage.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn No Longer Able to Attend Zenkaikon X
We regret to announce that due to emerging work requirements, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will no longer able to attend Zenkaikon X. Mary was really looking forward to meeting her fans at Zenkaikon, and is very sorry that she will be unable to make it this year. While she will be greatly missed this year, we wish her all the best in her work, and hope to see her at a future Zenkaikon.
Zenkaikon X Charity Announcement
Zenkaikon is happy to announce it has chosen to support the Leukemia Research Foundation as our 2016 charity. The Leukemia Research Foundation is dedicated to conquering all blood cancers by funding research into their causes and cures, and enriching the quality of life of those touched by these diseases. On Sunday of the convention, Zenkaikon will be holding its second annual Charity Auction.
